Your DIAGNOSIS is in and it’s official your DNA reveals you are…

7

The Creator

…which means you’re a master at invoking emotion into your work and are able to see your business through your own unique lens, it’s ingrained into your dna.

You’re intuitive and have an innate ability to believe in and follow your own instincts when it comes to visualizing your ideas. Your self-belief is inspiring and those around you value your originality and individuality.

And when you’re in the creative flow you pour your innermost self into your project with passion creating your own blend of artistic alchemy.

BUT…all that creativity and self-expression is addictive, it’s like a drug to you. You feed off ideas as they’re part of your soul because they come so easily but this in itself oftentimes presents a lack of follow through, because you’re seduced by the next big idea.

Understanding your Entrepreneurial DNA and your own unique natural wiring are the pieces of the puzzle that will allow you to align with your purpose, who you are on the inside and how you want to feel about the work you’re doing.

Your Genetic Code as a Creator

Vision

You’re a visionary and ideas just come to you in abundance . You’ve often had five new ideas before lunchtime and it’s always a struggle to decide which one you’ll do first.

Passion

You believe passionately in every idea you have. The creative process lights a fire within you sparking your imagination & allowing it to speak to your expressive nature.

Unique

Your unique blend of spontaneity, imagination and creativity allows you to see the big picture and bring a vision to life authentically which can set you and your business apart from the rest.

And now for a word or two of caution….

As a Creator it's easy to get swept away with every new idea that pops into your head. This shiny idea syndrome can be dangerous because it can stop you from being able to identify a good idea from just another distraction.

With your head full of ideas following through on actually getting things done can be a struggle for you. Action is the antidote here. Don't start on another idea till you've implemented the previous one.

You ride the waves of your emotions daily and this can sometimes cloud your judgment along with your artistic expression. But awareness is power. You control how you respond to these emotions.

“In the end, a vision without the ability to execute it is probably a hallucination.”

– Steve Case, co-founder of AOL

Here’s your Personalized Purpose Prescription

Creativity Is The Drug You’re Addicted To And It’s Time To Change The Narrative

Repeat daily and pin to a place where it will be a constant reminder….

Creativity is a muscle that needs using regularly and as long as I’m using it I’ll always be creative

My ideas are the starting point but it’s the execution that will bring them to life

By finding my ‘creativity off switch’ I’m freeing myself up to get more done so I can move onto the next big idea

Allowing my ideas to have somewhere to live means I don’t have to drop everything to give them brainspace immediately

An Idea without ACTION is just a Dream!

Learn the art of implementation and watch your business take flight!

Say hello to your fellow Creator…

Lady Gaga is the consummate performer & creative.  From her music to her costumes she embraces her creative spirit shamelessly to become a best selling artist.

To be completely candid, the creative process is approximately fifteen minutes of vomiting my creative ideas,” Lady Gaga said in a 2011 Gagavision interview.  “It all happens in approximately fifteen minutes of this giant regurgitation of my thoughts and feelings, and then there are days, months and years spent fine-tuning.

And there you have it! The difference between getting your ideas out there and them still sitting there years later is process and focus.  Lady Gaga has perfected the art of focusing and refining a project to then get it out there in the world. Her creativity is just the first part of the process.

Time to Discover Your Path to Purpose

Let me introduce you to ELEVATE, my simplified strategy that will help you to streamline and scale in a way that is aligned with your purpose

Evaluate

Take a deep dive into your business and start to evaluate what is working and what’s not. Start with the services you’re offering. Are they serving you as much as your clients? Are they profitable and scalable? Do you have the right processes and systems in place to deliver a top-notch client experience? Is the work you’re doing truly aligned with who you are and the goals you have for yourself, your family, and your clients?

Leverage

Look at your personal strengths and weaknesses and think of ways to leverage the things you’re good at. The things that only you can do and the things you love to do. How can you turn those strengths into your strategic secret weapon? And then get support from others to do the rest.

Educate

Take the time to educate yourself on the things you uncovered in step one. Do some research. Check out what others are doing in your industry or even surrounding industries. Are you being a trend-setter or a trend-follower? What can you do to make positive change and bridge those gaps for your clients? Start to map out the steps you need to take in order to make those changes. And don’t forget, small steps are better than big insurmountable ones. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither will your business.

Validate

Now bring in an expert to validate your ideas and the changes you want to make because sometimes you just need another eye or listening hear to help you on your path. Let them take an in-depth look at your business and prescribe actionable solutions that will help you move the needle forward. Remember your clients deserve to experience a business that is not just functional, but organized, fine-tuned, and sustainable and so do you!

Assign

Don’t be afraid to offload the things that you’re not good at, remember, we want to leverage those strengths. So, let’s get those things you don’t love and that take up unnecessary time off your plate. Assign these tasks to the folks that will undoubtedly do them faster (and oftentimes better) than you saving you money in the long run. There’s a reason we pay an accountant to do our bookkeeping, amiright?

Train

Be prepared to train your new and existing team members. Pack your patience here, because now is the time to document all of your processes so you’ll have them out of your head and readily available to your team so they can be there to support you. You may even need to invest in their continued education so they can fully embrace their role and take ownership of what they’re doing. A nurtured team is a loyal team.

Empower

Give your team the freedom they need to do a wonderful job for you. Empower them to own their role, bring ideas to you, and develop their own systems and strategies. Let them help you to make your business perform like a well-oiled machine which will empower you to be the best at what you do

WHO’S DISHING OUT ALL THIS ADVICE ANYWAY?

Hey there! I’m LaToya Williamson, Chief of Staff & Operations (some call me “Sunshine” and others call me the “CEO Whisperer”)

Latoya Williamson online business manager

After 20 years in the corporate world working as an executive assistant I woke up one morning to no job. Yep that’s right, after ten long years with a very well known beverage/consumer goods company, I’d been laid off.

So what next? I wasn’t quite ready to launch my business, although I knew this was what I wanted eventually. So instead I got another job working for a CEO, who unfortunately didn’t value my skills or knowledge and treated me like a low level assistant.

And it was then that it hit me. I could NO LONGER work for anyone else but myself. I wanted to be seen, heard and valued by people who needed my help, guidance and experience. So I built my business based on what I knew people like me wanted, not just a business/project manager and mentor, but a friend and partner they could turn to for support, laughs, and tough love.
And do you know what, it worked. Past clients have often told me that when faced with a tough decision they find themselves asking “What would LaToya do?” That to me is one of the highest compliments anyone could give me.

So now you know something about me, let’s get back to you. How can I help you?
If you let me, I’ll be your biggest advocate. But you have to be willing and ready to become the best version of yourself. But the cool thing is that you’ve already taken the first step, which was taking this quiz!
Are you ready for the next step? I sure hope so because I’m ready to help you take it.

Ready to wave goodbye to confusion and say hello to clarity?

I hope so….

….but before we do it’s also important to acknowledge that for some people, you being one of them, being a creative is what makes you tick and at the very core of your being, and that in itself is not a bad thing.

In fact, it’s one of the most in demand skills in business today as so many people struggle to ignite the creative side of their brain that fuels new and fresh ideas. Being able to do this is an art in itself and makes you stand out from the crowd, positioning both you and your brand in an authentic and completely unique way.

BUT…it’s your ability to find your ‘creative off switch’ that’s causing a bottleneck in your business. It’s a case of too many ideas and not enough time to implement them all. You’re seduced by the latest shiny thing that catches your eye and you struggle to concentrate on the task at hand before moving onto the next thing and you often find yourself working on multiple projects (sometimes the wrong projects) at a time but never actually finishing them which is why you aren’t seeing the progress you want.

Having said all that there is a very simple and effective way to ensure you stay focused and not easily distracted from finishing what you started. And the best thing is, it still allows for that stream of ideas to flow.

Let me introduce you to the ‘Shiny Idea Book’.

This book can be a home for all your ideas and flashes of inspiration ensuring that nothing goes uncaptured or forgotten. But, and this is a big but, the book itself is not an open invitation for you to work on all these ideas whenever you please. It’s a place to store them until you can set aside ‘idea & inspiration time’ where you can then flush out those ideas, determine if they even make sense and put them into timebound categories like within a certain # of month(s), year(s), someday or maybe never.

Think of it as a reward for all the focused work you’ve done and ideas that have been implemented as a result of that focus.

Some people reward themselves with a favorite meal, dessert, designer bag or just a walk in the local park but for you it could totally be different. You get to take your book to your favorite creativity spot and indulge in the magic within.

You see, we don’t want to crush your creativity but simply harness it in a way that helps you move forward in your business. After all, as these quiz results show, creativity is part of your purpose driven DNA and that’s genetic. We can’t and don’t want to extinguish that.

Any of these inner monologues sound familiar?

9

I'm an ideas person so what happens if I run out of ideas or my creativity dries up. People only hire me because I'm a creative person.

9

I can't believe I just spent the last two hours searching for an image that was just the right shade of blue to go with my new sales page.

9

I have so many ideas floating around my head it's hard to know what to focus on first so it's easier to work on several things at once.

9

If only I had a strategy or plan for actually taking some of my ideas and implementing them.

9

I wish I could clone myself. I can never seem to finish the things I start because there is always something new and exciting on the horizon.

I’ll let you in on a secret…everyone has random thoughts like this running through their head. It’s completely normal. The key here is to not let these innermost thoughts take over and continue to be a bottleneck. Just by using the ‘Shiny Idea Book’ to store all your ideas you’ll immediately free up your time to focus on the things that will move the needle in your business.
